Cookies and browser storage on GeoDigg
GeoDigg keeps cookies to a minimum. This page lists what is used and why.

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website asks your browser to keep. Local storage is a similar place in your browser where a site can remember a setting. Neither is shared with other websites by GeoDigg.
Essential cookie
geodigg_session: keeps you signed in to GeoDigg, protects forms such as the contact form from forgery and shows a confirmation after you submit. It is set only when you sign in or use a form, and it ends when you close your browser or sign out.
This cookie is needed for sign-in and forms to work, so it is used whichever choice you make on the cookie notice.
Settings kept in your browser
st-network-appearance-v1: your system, light or dark appearance choice, shared across SpiderTaz Network sites.geodigg-cookie-choice: whether you chose "Essential only" or "Accept", so the notice is not shown again for 28 days.
SpiderTaz Network menu and links
The network menu in the top corner is provided by spidertaz.com, which may use its own essential cookies for your network sign-in. Links to news publishers, SpiderTaz Search and other sites send you to those sites, which use their own cookies under their own policies.
Measurement and advertising
GeoDigg does not currently set advertising or tracking cookies of its own. If measurement or promotion features are added, this notice will be updated first, and non-essential cookies will follow your choice on the cookie notice.
Your choices
You can choose "Essential only" on the cookie notice, and you can delete cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time. If you delete them, the notice will appear again.
